Job description
Design, develop, and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems to support testing and validation of embedded software and control systems.
- Design and maintain HIL architectures, strategies, and test systems for embedded software validation
- Develop Simulink models to interface with HIL hardware and CAN networks
- Create and maintain HIL electrical wiring schematics, I/O definitions, ECU communication protocol definitions, and supporting documentation
- Develop automated test scripts and test cases to execute within HIL frameworks
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of HIL system issues
- Ensure system performance meets company and industry standards and supports product requirements
- Produce metrics, reports, and traceability documentation for management and compliance

Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Electrical, Vehicle Systems, or Computer Engineering (Or Associate degree with 6+ years compensating experience)
- Good written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight stays
- Reliable transportation between company locations during work hours, * 2+ years of embedded systems testing experience
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and HIL environments
- dSPACE tools experience
- Programming experience with Python is beneficial
- Knowledge of electromechanical and CAN-based systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams
- Experience with task management and version control tools (JIRA, GitHub)
