Job description

System Administrator support to: thin client/zero client networks; DCGS-A and other tactical intelligence systems; simulations; and NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, NSANet
Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators
Interact with users and evaluate vendor products
Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinate installation, and provide backup/recovery
Develop and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources
Set up administrator and service accounts, maintain system documentation, tune system performance, install system wide software, and allocate mass storage space

Requirements

Current TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility
Current CompTIA Security+ certification
At least 2 years of applicable experience
VMWare experience
Experience with OS (Windows, LINUX, or RedHat)
Knowledge of current DoW network administration requirements, concepts, practices, and procedures.
