Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Support Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be the frontline of technical assistance, ensuring seamless operation and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems for our users. Your expertise will help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing prompt, effective support across various operating systems and IT infrastructure components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to innovation and excellence., * Provide technical support to end-users via help desk systems, resolving issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.

  • Troubleshoot computer hardware problems including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Manage customer support tickets efficiently by documenting issues accurately and following up on resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting tasks involving TCP/IP protocols, DNS configuration, LAN/WAN connectivity, VPN setup, firewalls, and Active Directory management.
  • Support IT infrastructure components such as Windows Server environments, GPOs (Group Policy Objects), Active Directory accounts, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Conduct analysis of technical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions for hardware or software malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve support processes and contribute to the maintenance of a secure and reliable IT environment.
  • Must have expertise in Rack & Stack, Cisco basics and Cabling

Requirements

  • 2+ years of onsite desktop support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break/fix.
  • Printer installation, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
  • Hardware installation, upgrades, and replacement.
  • Experience with IMAC services (Install, Move, Add, Change).
  • Smart Hands support for network, server, and telecommunications equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (where applicable).
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
  • Valid work authorization for the United States or Canada, depending on the assigned location.
