Senior Construction Manager - Telecom / Fiber

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead multiple telecommunications and fiber construction projects throughout the Chicago market.The ideal candidate will have strong experience with FTTH, aerial and underground fiber construction, project scheduling, budgeting, permitting, quality control, and client management. Experience supporting AT&T FTTH construction is highly preferred., * 7+ years of telecommunications construction experience.

• 3+ years of construction leadership or multi-project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of FTTH, fiber backbone, and distribution networks.
• Hands-on experience with aerial and underground fiber construction.
• Experience managing multiple projects and field teams simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of permitting, right-of-way, and utility coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/prints and KMZ files.
• Experience with project budgets, cost control, estimates, and change orders.
• Strong scheduling, planning, and resource management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and project management software.
• Excellent communication, client management, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license..

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly visit and work around active construction jobsites.
• Ability to work outdoors as required.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely navigate active construction environments.
