Job description
We are seeking an IT Analyst - Manufacturing Systems / MES to provide global IT support for manufacturing operations. This role will support Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), manufacturing applications, OT environments, and plant-floor systems. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting IT systems within a manufacturing or industrial environment, including application configuration, troubleshooting, system integration, manufacturing equipment connectivity, and shop-floor applications. This position will also support OT network segmentation and Zscaler-related security initiatives while working closely with IT, OT, Security, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities
- Provide global IT and manufacturing systems support across manufacturing sites in AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
- Provide ongoing support for MES/MOM applications and manufacturing systems.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot applications supporting manufacturing operations.
- Support application deployment and configuration at the manufacturing machine and shop-floor level.
- Perform system integration testing for manufacturing applications, machine-level systems, and related infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot machine-integrated application issues reported by manufacturing users.
- Support connectivity and integration between manufacturing equipment, MES/MOM applications, ERP systems, and other enterprise applications.
- Support manufacturing IT and OT (Operational Technology) environments.
- Assist with OT network segmentation initiatives and work with OT/Security teams to support secure manufacturing environments.
- Support technologies and security solutions such as Zscaler within manufacturing/OT environments.
- Provide technical support for new manufacturing machines, applications, and underlying infrastructure.
- Support application monitoring, maintenance, data extraction, and data retention requirements.
- Analyze and resolve application, configuration, connectivity, and integration issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective technical solutions.
- Support change management, incident management, and system maintenance activities.
- Ensure changes to quality-relevant systems are documented and performed according to applicable validation and compliance procedures.
- Support system validation, testing, documentation, and deployment activities where required.
- Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing users and plant teams.
- Participate in global projects and travel to manufacturing sites as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Associate’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting IT systems in a manufacturing, industrial, or plant-floor environment.
- Experience with MES, MOM, manufacturing applications, or manufacturing systems.
- Experience with application installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and system integration.
- Understanding of OT / Operational Technology environments.
- Experience supporting manufacturing equipment, shop-floor systems, or industrial applications.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with IT, OT, Engineering, Manufacturing, Security, Quality, and other cross-functional teams.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize issues, and work with a sense of urgency.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel globally up to 40%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MES/MOM platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Werum PAS-X, Rockwell PharmaSuite, AVEVA MES/POMSnet, Ignition, or similar systems.
- Experience with OT network segmentation.
- Knowledge of Zscaler, ZPA, or ZIA.
- Experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, or industrial communication systems.
- Experience with OPC UA, OPC DA, Modbus, MQTT, Kepware, or similar technologies.
- Experience with MES-to-ERP integration such as SAP or Oracle.
- Experience with SQL or manufacturing databases.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, automotive, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of GMP, GxP, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, or computer system validation is a plus.
- Experience with ITIL incident, problem, and change management is a plus.

$29 - $33 an hour - Contract
