• Manage and support IT infrastructure components including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, firewalls, VPNs, and Active Directory environments.
• Oversee system administration tasks such as server backup and recovery, system tuning, performance optimization, and configuration management to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Design and implement automation processes using scripting languages like Bash, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, and tools such as Jenkins and Git to streamline operations.
• Support software implementation projects by troubleshooting issues related to Pegasystems platforms, databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server), and enterprise applications utilizing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Conduct system troubleshooting support across diverse platforms including Windows Server administration, Linux environments, VMware virtualization, and NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
• Ensure information security through effective firewall management, DNS configuration, load balancing strategies, and adherence to best practices in cybersecurity.
• Collaborate within Agile teams following SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies to deliver scalable solutions efficiently.

• Proven experience in systems engineering with a focus on IT infrastructure management across enterprise environments.
• Extensive background in system administration including storage management (RAID configurations), server administration (Windows Server & Linux), and network setup (DHCP, DNS).
• Strong knowledge of solution architecture principles incorporating service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices frameworks, and RESTful API integration.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V; familiarity with cloud services like Azure is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability in scripting for automation purposes using Bash, Shell Scripting, T-SQL, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL; experience with database tuning and replication is advantageous.
• Skilled in implementing security protocols including VPN setup, firewall configuration, Active Directory management, and information security best practices.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps for continuous integration/delivery workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on technical troubleshooting support for complex system issues involving operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux distributions.
