Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer, Vehicle Data Infrastructure

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and maintain high-throughput data pipelines for vehicle sensor data, enabling reliable capture, transfer, and indexing for analytics and machine learning. You will work across C++ and Python to build scalable data-plane services and evolve data formats and APIs for fleet-scale access. The role supports the company mission to advance autonomous trucking by ensuring data reliability, performance, and compliance with quality standards. Compensation / Benefits * Design and evolve high-throughput C++ systems that record vehicle sensor data and telemetry under resource constraints * Build Python data-plane services for data transfer, ingestion, validation, metadata extraction, cataloging, and storage lifecycle management * Evolve versioned vehicle-data formats and APIs including indexing, serialization, compression, and backward compatibility * Enhance columnar and lakehouse representations and access APIs for scalable fleet analytics and replay * Ensure work aligns with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and contribute to continuous improvement Tasks * BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience * Programming experience in modern C++ and Python * Linux systems knowledge including concurrency, memory/resource management, I/O, networking, debugging, and performance profiling * Self-driven with strong ownership and end-to-end project initiative Key requirements * catered free lunch * unlimited snacks and beverages * competitive salary * 401(k) plan
