Job description
As a Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation Specialist (PHS&T) you will work on PHS&T related Engineering and strategic initiatives. In this role, you’re accountable for technical execution, cost and schedule, and identification and elevation of technical and schedule risks for program areas relating to PHS&T. Additionally, you will be responsible for executing tasks in the areas of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Sustainment Planning, Logistics Management, Training, and/or Technical Documentation.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and implement various container and packaging technical specifications and supplier Statements of Work.
- Apply systems engineering discipline to translate regulatory, military, commercial, and customer requirements into clear, testable, and traceable technical requirements for military containers and PHS&T-related equipment.
- Support requirement development, verification planning, supplier coordination, technical reviews, and compliance assessments to ensure delivered products meet operational, environmental, transportation, and customer needs.
- Perform trade studies and analyses pertaining to PHS&T.
- Assist in developing action plans to address key engineering focus areas regarding PHS&T.
- Provide technical support for program milestones and positively engaging to contribute to successful reviews and customer interchanges., * Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
- This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA) an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Requirements
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date., Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date, * Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
- Experience with engineering, logistics, sustainment, training, technical documentation, depot management and/or ordnance management.
- Proposal experience
- Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date .
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Familiarity with management of program support, subcontractor oversight, and customer relationships
- Experience with Estimates at Completion (EAC) process
- Understanding of depot hardware handling and transportation requirements
- Familiarity with factory operations, procedures and depot flow activities
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
