CTO / Co-Founder for revolutionary healthcare data analytics company focused on medical errors

• Lead technical strategy, architecture, and product execution
• Improve and scale the existing iOS app
• Build AI/NLP workflows for personalized learning and knowledge-gap detection
• Develop content ingestion systems, including PubMed/YouTube/API integrations
• Improve UI/UX, reliability, speed, and App Store readiness
• Help recruit and lead future engineering hires
• Work directly with the CEO on product, fundraising, demos, and company strategy

$40,000 - $60,000 a year - Part-time, Full-time, $48,000/year + 35% equity, vested over 1 year.

MedQ-AI is an early-stage, revenue-generating medical education AI company built to reduce medical errors by closing clinician knowledge gaps. We have a working iOS product, early paid users in a ripe market, patent-backed technology, and numerous accepted pilots. Also some competition momentum (finalists at AHA Health Tech and Carnegie Mellon’s McGinnis Comp).

We are looking for a CTO / Technical Co-Founder to take ownership of the product and technical roadmap alongside the Founder/CEO, a Harvard-trained emergency physician, repeat founder, and self-taught iOS developer who built the first version of the platform.

This is a hands-on builder role, not a corporate management role. You should be excited to ship, iterate, solve hard problems, and help build a category-defining company.

Compensation

• $48,000 per year
• 35% equity in the company
• Equity vests quickly in this contract - 1 year.

MedQ-AI helps clinicians learn faster by identifying individuals’ knowledge gaps from their bedside actions and testing patterns and delivering targeted, high-yield education. The first wedge is emergency medicine, with long-term expansion across all medical specialties and other high-stakes knowledge fields.
