Network Administrator - II

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Network Administrator - II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting complex network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability across diverse IT environments. Your expertise will help maintain seamless connectivity and safeguard our digital assets as we continue to innovate and expand., * Configure, install, and support network hardware including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and SAN devices to ensure robust network architecture.

• Manage and troubleshoot LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), and IPsec protocols to maintain secure and efficient connectivity.
• Implement and support network security measures such as Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), firewalls, and encryption protocols to protect organizational data.
• Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds or PRTG; perform vulnerability assessments; and conduct system troubleshooting to resolve issues swiftly.
• Support network configuration tasks including DHCP, DNS, GPO (Group Policy Objects), and Active Directory integration for seamless user access management.
• Assist in the deployment of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP; optimize network traffic with QoS (Quality of Service); and implement high availability solutions for critical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network installation projects involving VMware, AWS cloud services, virtualization platforms like vSphere or ESXi, and DevOps practices to enhance system efficiency.

• Proven experience with computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN design, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP stack, VLANs, VPNs, and network switching.
• Strong knowledge of network hardware support such as Cisco routers/switches, Juniper devices, Meraki solutions, and SAN storage systems.
• Hands-on experience with network security tools including Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco ISE for access control, IDS/IPS systems, SSL/TLS encryption methods, and vulnerability assessment techniques.
• Familiarity with operating systems like Windows Server, Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS), BSD variants; system administration skills; and scripting expertise using PowerShell or Bash for automation tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues involving open-source tools like Wireshark or SolarWinds; perform system hardening; configure load balancers; and manage high availability environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure; virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere or ESXi; and open-source management tools like Ansible or Scripting languages like Python.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to technical troubleshooting support; understanding of ITIL best practices; and a commitment to continuous learning in the evolving field of network engineering.
