Job description

Marathon TS is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the migration of consumer data collection from our existing customer data platform to a new platform. This role will coordinate the work required to migrate event pipelines, data plans, application instrumentation, and downstream integrations across our digital ecosystem.

You will bring together engineering, product, analytics, data, and business stakeholders around a unified migration plan. You will be responsible for translating individual team inputs into a cohesive program, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring the migration is thoroughly validated from data collection through downstream reporting, analytics, and machine learning use cases.

Primary Responsibilities

Own the overall migration program, including scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, testing, and cutover readiness.

Coordinate implementation across application engineering, data engineering, analytics, product,and business teams.

Consolidate plans and status from multiple workstreams into a clear, actionable view of the overallprogram.

Drive alignment on standardized event schemas, data contracts, tracking requirements, andimplementation expectations.

Partner with engineering teams to ensure instrumentation is implemented consistently acrosswebsites and applications.

Establish an end-to-end testing and data reconciliation approach to validate parity between legacyand new data pipelines.

Define data quality standards, variance thresholds, and processes for identifying and resolvingdiscrepancies.

Ensure consumer data remains accurate, complete, accessible, and reliable throughout themigration.

Communicate progress, decisions, risks, and unresolved issues clearly to technical teams, businessstakeholders, and executive leadership.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience managing complex technical programs involving multiple teams, systems,and stakeholder groups.

Experience leading data platform, customer data platform, analytics instrumentation, or eventpipeline migrations.

Strong understanding of event schemas, data contracts, application instrumentation, anddownstream data consumption.

Experience developing migration validation, data reconciliation, and end-to-end testing strategies.

Ability to translate technical and business requirements into a unified delivery plan.

Strong organizational, facilitation, risk management, and executive communication skills.

Ability to work effectively across front-end engineering, data engineering, analytics, product, andbusiness teams.

Proven ability to identify inconsistencies, drive decisions, and maintain accountability acrossinterdependent workstreams., * Technical Program Management: 5 years (Preferred)
