• Manage vehicle dispatching using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and Vehicle Dispatch Software
• Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and GPS technology to plan routes and monitor transportation activities
• Handle inbound and outbound shipping & receiving operations, maintaining accurate data entry and documentation
• Communicate effectively via multi-line phone systems, managing phone call flow with professionalism and courtesy
• Support supply chain logistics by analyzing transportation data, optimizing routes, and improving operational efficiency
• Maintain internal communication channels to coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and external partners including 3PL providers
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations through diligent monitoring of vehicle operations and driver logs
• Use Microsoft Office tools for reporting, analysis, and record-keeping purposes
• Assist in fleet management tasks such as vehicle maintenance scheduling and tracking fleet performance metrics
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly via phone or email while practicing proper phone etiquette

• Proven experience in road transportation operations or logistics management
• Strong knowledge of transportation management systems like Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms
• Familiarity with GIS, GPS technology, and vehicle dispatch software tools
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills for internal coordination and customer interactions
• Experience with freight shipping & receiving processes and freight documentation procedures
• Knowledge of DOT regulations related to vehicle operation and driver compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry and reporting purposes
• Ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently while maintaining professionalism
• Strong analysis skills to interpret transportation data for process improvements
• Experience working with 3PL providers or in logistics environments involving shipping & receiving operations
• High attention to detail combined with strong typing skills for accurate data entry using SyteLine or similar ERP systems
