Senior Full-Stack Developer & Technical Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer and Technical Project Lead to own and deliver multiple software and AI initiatives across the company.

This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of software engineering, artificial intelligence, project management, and business transformation. You will act as the primary technical owner and architect for several existing applications while leading the development of new solutions as business needs emerge.

You will work directly with company leadership, including the CEO, to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions. You will also lead and mentor a team of junior developers and manage project execution., * Take end-to-end ownership of existing software applications and new technical initiatives.

• Assess current codebases, architecture, integrations, infrastructure, technical debt, and operational risks.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable full-stack applications.
• Serve as the primary solution architect and technical project manager for assigned projects.
• Meet with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical plans, user stories, milestones, and deliverables.
• Manage projects from discovery and architecture through development, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Establish project priorities, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements.
• Communicate progress, risks, tradeoffs, and technical recommendations clearly to company leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and assign work to junior software developers.
• Conduct code reviews and establish development standards for testing, security, documentation, source control, and deployment.
• Design and maintain APIs, backend services, databases, integrations, authentication systems, and user-facing applications.
• Improve application performance, reliability, security, maintainability, and scalability.
• Support modern CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, logging, and cloud deployment practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead root-cause analysis and remediation.

AI Engineering and Transformation

The successful candidate will help the company identify and implement meaningful opportunities for AI-driven business transformation.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and implement AI-enabled applications, intelligent workflows, and agent-based systems.
• Build production solutions using technologies and methodologies such as:
• AI agents and Agentic Workflows
• Large and small language models
• OCR and data extraction, unstructured-to-structured data transformation
• Cloud-hosted and locally deployed models
• Prompt engineering and structured outputs
• Tool calling and AI workflow orchestration
• Fine-tuning, few-shot learning, and in-context learning
• Model evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, and human oversight
• Evaluate AI tools and models based on accuracy, reliability, security, latency, scalability, cost, and business value.
• Turn AI prototypes into dependable production systems with validation, observability, access controls, fallback behavior, and auditability.
• Stay current with AI developments and recommend technologies that offer practical value to the company., * Takes ownership of outcomes rather than only completing assigned tasks.
• Can move comfortably between executive meetings, project planning, architecture, mentoring, and coding.
• Can bring structure and direction to existing applications and ambiguous business requests.
• Balances delivery speed with long-term maintainability, security, and scalability.
• Understands that successful AI transformation requires strong engineering, reliable data, appropriate controls, and measurable business value.
• Enjoys mentoring junior developers and improving team-wide engineering practices.

• Proven experience delivering production software from concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Experience as a technical lead, lead developer, solution architect, technical project manager.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor junior developers.
• Strong knowledge of frontend development, backend services, APIs, databases, integrations, and application security.
• Practical experience implementing AI-enabled applications; not only using consumer AI tools.
• Experience architecting and deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience gathering business requirements and converting them into functional and technical requirements.
• Strong project-management skills, including estimation, prioritization, delivery tracking, and risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with executives and non-technical stakeholders.
• A verifiable record of completed projects and the ability to clearly explain personal contributions and architectural decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience with Angular, React, Next.js, .NET/C#, Java, FastAPI and similar modern tech stacks.
• Strong AWS architecture and application-development experience.
• Experience with enterprise authentication, role-based access control, secrets management, and secure integrations.
• Experience taking ownership of legacy applications or systems developed by external teams.
• Experience with microservices, containers, Docker, serverless applications, or event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and cloud security practices.
• Experience building internal business platforms, workflow automation, analytics systems, or enterprise applications.
