Data Analyst

Summary: The DCMP Data Analyst provides support to the case managers and program leadership. They connect with the Program Manager and Disaster Case Manager Supervisor to collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify patterns, trends, issues, and solutions. The data collected and analyzed will be used to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Pacific Gateway Center’s role in the Disaster Case Management Program. They also provide clerical support to the Disaster Case Management Supervisor and the DCMP team by performing administrative and general office duties., * Maintain a database of resources for use by DCMs and Assist with maintenance of the survivor waitlist.

• Conduct compliance reviews to make sure case managers are meeting the standards of the program
• Conduct case audits and clean up client profiles on Visionlink
• Work with Program Lead and supervisors to monitor progress of cases and identity bottlenecks
• Coordinate and compare entry of alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the computer and analyze said data.
• Compares data entered in the database with source documents, or re-enters data in verification format on screen to detect errors.
• Clean and transform raw data into a reliable format for analysis, using statistical methods to extract actionable insights and uncover trends in data.
• Work together with Supervisor(s) and Program Manager to compile data into presentable tables/graphs/charts suitable for reporting purposes.
• Help to prepare data reports, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
• Liaison to the Finance Manager and Case Management Supervisor for purchasing, time sheets, and other clerical duties.
• Other duties as necessary.

• Required high school diploma or two-year associate’s degree.
• Preferred 4-year degree in computer science, statistics, or a related area.
• Preferred prior nonprofit and grant reporting experience
• Self-motivated and passionate about supporting the recovery efforts on Maui.
• Able to think critically to solve problems and make data-driven decisions.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word and all Google Suite applications.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with data visualization capabilities (ability to present data findings via graphics or other illustrations).
• Must possess exceptionally strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Maintain confidentiality of DSC, the Maui DCMP, and survivors
• Team player who works well with a variety of personalities.
• Flexible with work schedule and ability to travel.
• Empathetic and able to empower clients’ choices.
• Strong attention to accuracy and completeness - must be well organized.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation., F - Lifting/Carrying below 30 lbs. O - Lifting/Carrying 31 - 50 lbs. R - Lifting/Carrying above 50 lbs. O - Travel. O - Pushing/Pulling up to 50 lbs. O - Bending, Squatting, Kneeling, Lifting Overhead. F - Climbing (ascending/descending).
