Job description

Experteer Overview In thisStaff Software Engineer role you will design, build, and maintain full-stack software for RMB’s commercial products, shaping how microbiology automation accelerates pharmaceutical workflows. You will back up the Software Architect, influence technical decisions, and ensure scalable, secure solutions deployed across cloud and on-prem environments. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality software and drive continuous improvement through automation and Agile practices. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role in a fast-moving, growth-oriented company with a meaningful mission in healthcare outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software for commercial products * Deliver features end-to-end with minimal supervision * Back up the Software Architect in architectural planning and design reviews * Contribute to scalable, secure, and performant software architectures * Develop front-end, back-end, business logic, and database components * Create and implement RESTful APIs and services * Collaborate with Product Management to align on requirements * Produce and maintain SDRs and technical documentation * Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices * Build and maintain automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes * Support cloud and on-prem deployments * Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration Tasks * Modern software architecture and design patterns * Full-stack application development * C# and .NET Core/.NET * Angular and TypeScript * SQL Server and relational database design * Entity Framework or equivalent ORM * Authentication and Authorization (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, Identity) * Async programming, multithreading, and concurrency * RESTful API development * Modern UI development practices * Automated testing with xUnit or NUnit * Docker containerization * CI/CD and DevOps practices * Git workflows * Networking fundamentals and distributed applications * Cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and on-prem deployments * Experience with AI coding assistants as part of development workflow * Agile/Scrum experience * Strong problem-solving and communication * Ability to work independently in a collaborative team * Microsoft technologies expertise * Linux knowledge a plus Key requirements * competitive total compensation * benefits package * cash incentive opportunities * equity grant
