Product Owner

Experteer Overview In this role you will drive onboarding for program/delegated authority business, translating requirements into practical data models and processes. You will partner with IT, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Finance, and Data & Analytics to ensure data integrity and timely delivery from due diligence to go-live. You’ll lead workshops, manage cross-functional dependencies, and validate data quality throughout the lifecycle to support scalable growth. You’ll help shape best practices for data management across Bordereau platforms and stay aligned with market standards, delivering actionable insights to reduce risk and improve oversight. Compensation / Benefits * Act as Product Owner/BSA for onboarding program/delegated authority business * Coordinate requirements across IT, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Finance, and Data & Analytics * Lead requirements workshops, design sessions, and status meetings * Manage cross-workstream dependencies, risks, and issues; escalate as needed * Negotiate data requirements with Brokers, MGAs, Coverholders, TPAs and align with stakeholders * Develop insights, analytics, and reports to identify portfolio trends and risks * Define data standards, mapping rules, and validation criteria * Map and validate data for accuracy and completeness during onboarding * Validate data quality and drive timely resolution of issues * Collaborate with data engineering to integrate data into platforms * Perform UAT and ensure data reconciliation with source files * Monitor data quality post-load and enforce standards * Develop best practices for master/reference data management and data integration * Maintain process and training documentation for procedures * Implement continuous improvement to enhance scalability, efficiency, and oversight * Stay current with bordereau data standards and processing requirements Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Insurance/Risk Management, or a related field * 7+ years as Product Owner, BSA, Business Analyst, or equivalent in financial services or insurance * 5+ years in (Re)insurance across US P&C, International Markets, or L&A segments * Experience with program/delegated authority onboarding and Bordereau reports * Cross-functional coordination across IT, Operations, Underwriting, Claims, and Finance * Experience negotiating data requirements with external partners (Brokers, MGAs, Coverholders, TPAs) * Influencing across a global organization; strong problem-solving and PM skills * Requirements elicitation, process/data mapping, and gap analysis * Hands-on UAT/acceptance testing and defect management * SQL or equivalent data validation tools * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Key requirements * Comprehensive Health, Dental and Vision benefits * Disability Insurance * Life Insurance * Flexible Spending Accounts * Health Reimbursement Account * 401(k) with company match
