Job description

Amatriot is seeing a LabVIEW developer to support the Naval Architecture and Engineering department, Code 85, at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) located in Bethesda, MD.

The LabVIEW developer will develop software to collect data in support of various test efforts for Code 85 as well as developing other support materials and documentation to assist with improving development capabilities., The LabVIEW responsibilities include developing software to collect data for various tests, developing a LabVIEW style guide, providing on-site support for developed software, working with end users to improve the software, developing data storage architectures, and training other personnel to supplement the work being done.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have a SECRET security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 7+ years of experience with LabVIEW development
  • Experience with data acquisition hardware
  • Experience providing feedback on software requirements documents
  • Experience interacting with end-users to improve software
  • Experience developing data storage architectures
  • Ability to train others on LabVIEW development
  • National Instruments Certified LabVIEW Developer, * Experience developing a style guide
