Job description

Experteer Overview As an AI Platform Engineer, you bridge cloud and AI-enabled development, owning the platform that underpins DevOps and AI delivery. You will advance AI development pipelines, MCP server infra, and modernize the toolchain, while hands-on developing AI Agents across platforms. You work within the AI & Cloud Operations team to raise production readiness and security standards. This role offers autonomy, cross-functional collaboration, and a opportunity to shape enterprise AI tooling and practices. Compensation / Benefits * Assess prototype apps for security, data integrity, auth flows, input validation, dependency hygiene, and test quality for production readiness * Identify AI-generated code failure patterns and document remediation steps within architectural standards * Remediate and harden AI-generated codebases across frontend, backend, data modeling, and auth systems * Replace AI-generated tests with human-reviewed acceptance criteria reflecting production behavior * Utilize AI-augmented tooling to accelerate remediation while managing risk * Identify and remediate common security vulnerabilities (injection, broken auth, insecure references, exposed credentials) * Implement secure authentication/authorization patterns per enterprise policies * Ensure CI/CD readiness and version control compliance prior to production deployment * Document recurring AI code failure patterns and feed improvements to reduce remediation burden * Collaborate with teams to align readiness criteria and timelines, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences * Provide guidance on responsible use of AI development tools within the organization * Stay current on AI tooling, failure modes, and production readiness best practices Tasks * Strong full-stack fundamentals (frontend framework, backend APIs, data modeling, authentication) * Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least one more backend language * Understanding of REST, database schema design, and ORM patterns * Experience with version control, branching, and code reviews * Experience identifying AI-generated code failure modes and evaluating AI outputs for production viability * Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and secure authentication flows (OAuth 2.0, JWT) * Knowledge of CI/CD, environment configuration, and secrets management * Experience writing and reviewing unit/integration/e2e tests with meaningful coverage * Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams * Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of full-stack software development; 3+ years AI-augmented development tools; 2+ years security/production engineering Key requirements * Paid Time Off * 401(k) * Employee Assistance Program * Good Sam Roadside Assistance * tuition reimbursement * medical, dental, vision and more
