Job description
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Network Architect to lead enterprise network architecture, modernization, implementation, and operational transition. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Juniper routing/switching, Fortinet security, hybrid cloud networking, automation, and enterprise architecture., * Lead enterprise LAN/WAN, data center, wireless, VPN, firewall, and hybrid-cloud architecture.
- Provide hands-on engineering support when required and serve as a Tier III escalation resource.
- Design secure, resilient, and highly available network solutions.
- Lead network modernization projects and develop technical standards and roadmaps.
- Work with Juniper routing/switching and Fortinet firewalls/security.
- Design AWS/Azure hybrid networking solutions.
- Implement network automation using Python, scripting, orchestration, and IaC.
- Improve network monitoring, observability, capacity planning, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, infrastructure, facilities, vendors, and project teams.
- Mentor network operations teams and provide knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- 4+ years of enterprise network architecture and engineering experience.
- Strong Juniper routing & switching experience.
- Strong Fortinet firewall/security experience.
- LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
- AWS and/or Azure hybrid networking.
- Network automation, scripting, orchestration, and IaC.
- High availability, resiliency, segmentation, VPN/SASE, and network security.
- Strong architecture and project leadership experience.
