Job description

Position Title: Advancement Operations and Engagement Associate Reports to: Director of Advancement

GENERAL SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL PURPOSE: The Advancement Operations and Engagement Associate plays a key role in ASB’s mission by supporting fundraising, community events and engagement, marketing and communications efforts, and database management.

Major Responsibilities: Facilitate and support the logistics of all events which include Auction, Walk-a-Thon, Annual Fund Donor Reception, Homecoming, Grand Day, New Family events, Alumni events, Open Houses, and various community building events. Partner with Auction and Walk-a-Thon chairs to support event planning, vendor management, and systems and database administration associated with those events. Assist the Advancement Director with the creation and distribution of marketing and communications materials across print, website, email, publications, and social media platforms. Support the management and growth of the school’s social media presence (Facebook and Instagram). Maintain and manage donor database records, including gift entry, reporting, data analysis, and list generation. Coordinate donor stewardship and fundraising communications, including pledge reminders, donor acknowledgments, mailing lists, and distribution management. Manage database maintenance and cleanup projects

Requirements

ASB is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and highly qualified individual to be our new Operations & Engagement Associate. Ideal applicants strongly support and promote Catholic education, have an engaging and friendly personality, are able to work collaboratively with a variety of individuals and groups, and bring energy and innovation to advancement strategies, including fundraising and marketing. Knowledge of Raisers’ Edge, Greater Giving, and website programs required. Please see attached job description., in collaboration with Blackbaud Advisory+ Consultant. Facilitate efforts to increase alumni participation and develop outreach. Provide operational and administrative support for advancement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned by the Advancement Director or Principal. Required Skills: Bachelor’s Degree 2+ years of experience in advancement, fundraising, donor relationship management, marketing/communications or related roles. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience creating marketing content and managing social media platforms and content. Experience coordinating events and working with volunteers, vendors, and community stakeholders. Proficiency in donor databases and data management. Experience with Blackbaud and Greater Giving products preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate reports, maintain accurate records, and interpret data for decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, and related technology tools. Demonstrated attention to detail, data accuracy, and discretion when handling confidential information. Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, and provide exceptional customer service. Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
