Job description
The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Engagement Operations Team Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of
the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC)
Project Office (PO). The PO will be responsible for the Prioritization and validation of the development software for
the Engagement Operations team. The position will include reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering
concepts, designs and algorithms and providing guidance to the development team. The product owner will work with
Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects for the team for each product increment and
sprint. The position will include technical briefings and advisement to leadership on status and recommended courses
Requirements
-
Have a minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed.

Obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.

Basic understanding of Engagement Operations (EO) concepts to include engagement planning/scheduling, threat evaluation, target selection, battlespace prediction and sensor resource management.

Ability provide oversight to EO SW development team and verify the teams work based on agreed upon acceptance criteria.

Able to work directly with the Agile software developers.

Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.

Be a US citizen.

Have a Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics.
Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and familiar with current EO implementations in one or more of the DoD services.

Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.
