Job description

We’reseeking a firmware engineer to join our AILinux Systemsteam, working on low-level embedded software that powers our autonomousvehicles, humanoidrobots, and server inferenceplatforms.You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy mission-critical firmware formicrocontrollers,Ethernet, PCIeswitchesand other platform subsystems.You will get to work on some of the most advanced AI platforms in the world, shipping software that powers autonomous systems at scale. What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement firmware for embeddedsubsystems
  • Bring up, configure, andoptimizeEthernet, PCIeswitch ASICs for high-bandwidth, low-latencycommunicationbetween compute nodes
  • Create robust system software architectures that handle inter-process communication and data transport across compute nodes
  • Enable secure boot and updatesfor a variety ofplatforms
  • Build telemetry and monitoring solutions for platform health and performance
  • Drive technical requirements for next-generation autonomous system hardware and firmware
  • Collaborate with hardware teams on board bring-up, validation, and debug of new platforms
  • Maintain high code quality through testing, documentation, and code reviews

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in a relevant field, or equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability
  • Strong C and C++ skillsrequired
  • Experience with microcontroller firmware development (bare-metal and/or RTOS)
  • Familiarity with Ethernet, PCIe,NVLinkswitch configuration, networking protocols, or switch SDK/APIs preferred
  • Experience with Time-Sensitive Networking, including PTP and traffic shaping standards are a bonus
  • Experience with hardware debugging tools (JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes) preferred
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

Expected Compensation $140,000 - $360,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
