Job description

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting AWS infrastructure that underpins critical business services. You’ll work closely with internal technology teams to ensure cloud environments remain secure, resilient, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives., n \n

  • Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and Lambda. \n

  • Optimise cloud environments for performance, availability, security, and cost efficiency. \n

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. \n

  • Support cloud migration and transformation projects. \n

  • Implement and maintain cloud governance, security controls, and compliance standards. \n

  • Monitor cloud services and proactively investigate incidents and performance issues. \n

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures. \n

  • Act as a senior technical escalation point for AWS-related issues. \n

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver robust cloud solutions. \n

  • Evaluate new AWS services and technologies, recommending improvements where appropriate. \n

Requirements

Are you an AWS expert who thrives on building secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments?, You’ll be an experienced cloud professional with strong AWS expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions., * Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing AWS environments. \n

  • Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch. \n

  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation. \n

  • Strong Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, AWS CLI). \n

  • Good understanding of cloud security, management, and compliance best practices. \n

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. \n, * Experience with container technologies including Docker, ECS, or EKS. \n

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies. \n

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging platforms. \n

  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration initiatives. \n

  • Understanding of ITIL-based service management practices. \n

  • Exposure to AWS cost management and optimisation strategies. \n
