Requirements

Hickham, HI (Onsite) Clearance: TS/SCI Education: MA/MS (or a BA/BS plus an additional 8 years of work experience, 4 of which must be work related) Outcomes: The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes during the first year in the position: Formally track all tasks, to include assigned by, suspense, status, and comments on all assigned tasks through completion and be prepared to brief upon request. Develop digital continuity folders and files that include standard operating procedures, workflows and POC lists to accomplish all tasks. Create 2-3 products beyond the client’s requirements that positively impact the client to either increase efficiency, effectiveness, or innovation. Establish foundation in AI/ML skills and contribute to AI/ML operationalization and modernization goals and objectives. Master position tasks within 60 days and exceed requirements within 90 days. Use government provided Generative AI tools on a day-to-day basis to accelerate tasks, research, documentation, analysis, planning, reporting, and problem solving. Make recommendations on process improvements and practices that improve quality, speed and/or efficiency. Responsibilities: The Senior Network Engineer supports Secretary of the Air Force, Office of Competition (SAF/OC) Mission Partner Capabilities Office (MPCO) providing Circuit Management (COMSEC) support. The Senior Network Engineer shall support key management request and fulfillment as part of the connection and key approval process in accordance with CNNSSI No. 4001, AF Manual 17-13002-O and other NSA and F regulations and policies. Primarily, the Senior Network Engineer supports field COMSEC operations support, network equipment troubleshooting, and site survey and infrastructure coordination. Per PWS section 1.3.4.6 Circuit Management (COMSEC Support), responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide COMSEC support as a COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO) in accordance with AFMAN 17-1302-O and DOD regulations, providing accountability oversight, management and policy implementation. Coordinate with Tier 2/3 levels of support to complete touch maintenance, operations, and sustainment on MPE systems. Assist and coordinate with Tier 3 Engineers in troubleshooting/restoring outages. Coordinate with local organizations/units to resolve MPE-related issues. Provide property management support (accountability and disposition) as a property custodian in accordance with DoDI 5000.64_DAFI 23-111 and as directed by Government Property Lead. Qualifications: The candidate must have the following qualifications: Minimum of ten (10) years of related work experience. Minimum of six (6) specific work-related experience in support of a DoW component. At least two years of experience working with the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, NATO, or comparable multinational defense organizations. Experience designing, testing, implementing, and sustaining complex information-sharing network solutions. The following qualifications are desired: Five (5+) years of experience with COMSEC and related systems, systems administration, property management, asset management, and equipment sanitization. (desired). Experience working with Combatant Commands (desired). Knowledgeable and skilled in applying Generative AI (desired). Experience supporting Mission Partner Environment (MPE) networks combined/coalition architectures, and multi-national information-sharing constructs (desired). Certifications (Desired) IAM Level II certification (i.e. CAP, CASP+CE. CISM, CISSP, GSLC, or CCISO) (desired). CompTIA Network+ (desired). CompTIA Security+ (desired). Travel: Local travel and/or occasional long-distance travel may be required, <10%. Other Requirements: EVerify Notice of Participation This employer participates in EVerify.
