Job description

As our Technology and Data Analyst supporting our People and Culture teams, you’ll be at the forefront of leading and optimizing the functions that drive a thriving people and culture team-partnering across departments to drive accuracy, efficiency, and strong relationships., HR Technology Administration & Configuration

  • Serve as the primary administrator and functional owner for UKG Pro, UKG Workforce Management (WFM), iCIMS, and other assigned People Technology platforms.
  • Configure and maintain organizational structures, job and salary tables, workflows, business rules, approval paths, notifications, custom fields, PTO plans, security roles, and system settings.
  • Partner with People & Culture, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, IT, and business leaders to translate requirements into scalable, compliant, and user-friendly system solutions.
  • Lead release reviews, regression testing, enhancement deployment, and adoption of new platform functionality.
  • Maintain accurate functional and technical documentation, configuration inventories, process maps, job aids, and standard operating procedures.

Project Leadership & Business Process Design

  • Lead People Technology projects, enhancements, upgrades, and new application implementations from discovery through stabilization.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, requirements, timelines, dependencies, risks, decisions, testing strategies, communications, and executive-ready status updates.
  • Analyze end-to-end HR processes and recommend opportunities to simplify, automate, standardize, and improve the employee and manager experience.
  • Facilitate design sessions, stakeholder approvals, user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-production support.
  • Independently manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments with minimal supervision.

Integrations, Data Quality & Security

  • Act as the functional owner for HR system integrations, maintaining a working understanding of data mapping, interface specifications, system dependencies, and downstream impacts.
  • Monitor integration performance, investigate errors, and coordinate with IT, vendors, and business owners to resolve failures and prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure integrity of People data through recurring audits, reconciliations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action.
  • Administer role-based security and access requests in accordance with approved governance standards and established service levels.
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining evidence, access records, configuration documentation, and control procedures.

Reporting, Analytics & Decision Support

  • Build, automate, and maintain operational, compliance, and executive reports and dashboards using UKG and related analytics tools.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, data definitions, and meaningful success measures.
  • Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze workforce data; summarize findings, key trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership.
  • Create repeatable reporting solutions that reduce manual effort and strengthen data-driven decision-making.

Customer Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage People Technology requests through FreshService, provide timely communication, troubleshoot issues, and retain ownership through resolution.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to users, functional subject matter experts, and junior team members.
  • Research complex system issues, identify sustainable solutions, and document known errors and resolution steps.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements, automations, and system enhancements that improve efficiency, data quality, and service delivery.
  • Build trusted partnerships across functions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Workday Readiness & Future-State Technology

  • Apply Workday knowledge, when available, to help shape future-state process design, data standards, governance, and implementation readiness.
  • Contribute to long-term People Technology strategy and roadmap planning, including evaluation of platform capabilities and migration considerations.
  • Preferred Workday experience includes HCM configuration, Business Process Framework design, condition rules, approvals, notifications, calculated fields, validations, Recruiting, Talent, security, reporting, and biannual release evaluation.

Requirements

Previous Work Experience

  • 5+ years of progressive HRIS, People Technology, or enterprise SaaS administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience administering UKG Pro and supporting UKG Workforce Management (WFM).
  • Demonstrated experience configuring workflows, business rules, security, reporting, and data structures.
  • Experience leading or coordinating HR technology projects, enhancements, upgrades, or implementations.
  • Exceptional organization, project management, prioritization, documentation, and follow-through.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, including the ability to investigate complex issues and translate findings into practical solutions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience developing reports, dashboards, or workforce analytics.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion., * Workday HCM configuration experience, particularly Business Process Framework, Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, security, calculated fields, reporting, or release management.
  • Experience with iCIMS, UKG Onboarding, UKG Learning, Snowflake, Power BI, SQL, APIs, or enterprise integrations.
  • Experience supporting HR technology in a high-growth, multi-location organization.
  • Formal project management experience or certification, such as PMP, CAPM, Agile, or equivalent.
  • Experience mentoring junior analysts, coordinating contractors, or managing vendor relationships.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
