Job description

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Python Build and execute test suites using pytest or similar frameworks for integration and functional testing Integrate AI/LLM-based tools to accelerate test case generation, log analysis, defect triage, or code review Collaborate with automotive domain teams (ADAS, infotainment etc.) to understand test requirements Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with engineering and lab teams to resolve defects Maintain test documentation, coverage reports, and traceability matrices Automation HIL Engineer Responsibilities -

Requirements

Understanding of Vehicle Architectures of Conventional, EV and Hybrid Powertrain System and corresponding ECU’s. Understand Vehicle features and ability to perform Manual testing and Automation Scripts Testing Experience in DSPACE HIL environment, Automation script development using ECU test tool Required Qualifications - 5-8 years of professional experience in Python development and test automation Experience in Automotive infotainment, ADAS, telematics or EV/HEV systems, vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) Practical experience with AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/LLMs, AI-based test generation or log-analysis tools) to improve productivity, test coverage, or defect detection Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, smoke, integration) Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience with automotive protocols: CAN, LIN, UDS, DoIP, Ethernet/SOME-IP Familiarity with tools such as PyCharm, JIRA, TestRail, Confluence/Wiki, and CAN simulation tools Experience with Selenium (WebDriver) and/or Appium for automation is a plus Automation project experience Automotive IVI or Cluster testing experience Automation HIL testing

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
