DevOps / Platform Engineer (Level II)

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines teams rely on
• Automate infrastructure so environments are predictable and supportable

• CompTIA Security+ Certification or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience with: *

• Containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman, Buildah)
• Container Orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm)
• CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Code Build)
• Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
• Linux systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell), * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field

• Demonstrated experience with *

• Cloud computing infrastructure or development (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Atlassian suite tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Clearance Requirements

Lyntris is seeking an enthusiastic and talented DevOps / Platform Engineer (Level II) to build on ongoing modernization efforts for the US Navy with enabling microservices to be rapidly built, tested, fielded, and integrated to container orchestration platforms through heavy use of automation tools and processes. This role is for folks who like being close to the work-building pipelines, automating infrastructure, fixing what slows teams down, and adapting when a program needs something different. Candidates must have strong experience in Kubernetes.
