IT Communications Specialist

We areseekingastrategicand proactiveITCommunications Specialistto join ourITCommunications teamin the Office of the CIO. This role willsupport planning, development, and execution of internal communications that help employees understand, adopt, and embrace technology initiatives across the organization.You will work closely with cross-functional teams todevelop communications that simplify complex technical concepts, support organizational change, and improveemployee experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating technology into clear, engaging stories that help people understand what is changing, why it matters, and what actions they need to take.This role requires excellent writing skills,and project managementexpertiseto drive seamless execution of communication plansin a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Communications Strategy: Develop and execute internal comms strategies that support technology initiatives, transformation, and IT priorities, driving employee awareness, understanding, and adoption.

• Change Communications:Abilityto support high-impact change initiatives by developing communication plans, stakeholder messaging, FAQs, and readiness materials.

• Content Development:Create, edit, and manage engaging internal communications across multiple channels, including email, intranet (SharePoint), Microsoft Teams, newsletters, videos, andemployee resources, ensuring that messaging is clear, consistent, and audience focused.

• Project Management: Oversee communications projects from initiation to completion, managing timelines,metrics, employee feedback, andadoptiondata toensuretimelydelivery and alignment with company goals.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely withIT, HR, Corporate Communications, and business stakeholders to align messaging, provide communications counsel, and support planning.

• Degree in Communications,Organizational Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field

• At least three (3) years of experience ininternal communications, change communications, or corporate communicationswithdemonstratedproject management capabilities.

• Demonstrated experience supporting technology initiatives, digital transformation, or enterprise change programs.

• Exceptional writing and editing skillsacross multiple communication channels.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines, witha track recordof successful project execution.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with experience partnering across technical and business teams.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and respond effectively to changing priorities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in telecommunications, supporting enterprise technology organizations, or IT departments.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, AI-enabled workplace technologies, and other internal communication platforms (e.g., Workshop)
