Job description

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our Manufacturing Operations Engineering and Analysis Team as an Operations Data Engineer / Principal Operations Data Engineer based out of Baltimore, MD. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in supporting our manufacturing operations and data engineering initiatives. The selected candidate must have a willingness to explore new technologies independently and then develop them in a team environment. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 2 years of experience in database or web programming, information systems, data analysis, and/or data management; Master’s degree in STEM with experience in database or web programming, information systems, data analysis, and/or data management Experience working with SQL Experience using MS Office suite -Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance, Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 5 years of experience in database or web programming, information systems, data analysis, and/or data management; Master’s degree in STEM with 3 years of experience in database or web programming, information systems, data analysis, and/or data management Experience working with SQL Experience using MS Office suite -Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance U.S. Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications: Active/Current U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance Experience in or knowledge of a manufacturing environment Experience with SAP, and Tableau Familiarity with data transportation formats, including, but not limited to JSON, XML Experience with object-oriented languages, such as JAVA, VBA, Python, R, C+ and database management languages such as Access Familiarity with modern web development stack (ASP.NET, MVC, JS Frameworks, CSS, HTML) Experience with database technologies such as ORACLE

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
