Job description

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the migration of enterprise .NET applications from on-premises data centers to AWS. The architect will own end-to-end migration strategy covering assessment, target architecture, migration wave planning, and cutover - while modernizing workloads toward containerized, cloud-native patterns. This role requires deep hands-on knowledge of both the Microsoft application stack and AWS-native services, and the ability to present trade-offs to senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Conduct application portfolio assessment and recommend the right migration strategy per workload (rehost, replatform, refactor) using the AWS 7Rs frameworkDesign target-state architectures for .NET Framework and .NET Core applications on AWS with justification of compute choicesLead SQL Server migration to Amazon RDS (license-included/BYOL) for near-zero-downtime cutoverContainerize IIS-hosted applications using AWS App2Container and design CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline/CodeBuild or GitHub Actions) for containerized .NET servicesDesign network architecture: VPC, multi-AZ private subnets, hybrid connectivity (Site-to-Site VPN, Direct Connect), Route 53 weighted-routing cutover strategiesExternalize application state - session management with ElastiCache (Redis), configuration and secrets with Secrets Manager/Parameter Store, static content on S3 + CloudFrontDefine security architecture: WAF, IAM task roles, KMS encryption, AD integration via AWS Managed Microsoft ADEstablish observability with CloudWatch (dashboards, alarms, ContainWe are seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the migration of enterprise .NET applications from on-premises data centers to AWS. Requirements
