Job description

  • Project Execution: Lead projects and assist team members on infrastructure deployments.
  • Systems Administration: Configure and maintain Windows Server, Exchange, and Cloud environments (M365/Google Workspace).
  • Network Security: Manage and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and wireless technologies.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery: Ownership of backup maintenance and data recovery procedures.
  • Documentation & Billing: Maintain meticulous client documentation and daily time entry.
  • Client Relations: Translate complex technical issues into simple terms for non-technical clients and provide accurate time estimates for tasks., We are looking for an engineer who follows directions and pays close attention to detail. Requirements

We are a local IT consulting company seeking an IT Systems Engineer who is a “motivated self-starter” with at least 2-4 years of in-the-trenches experience. Our pace is fast, and the environments are diverse. You will act as a field technician, onboarding specialist, and high-level troubleshooter, providing both on-site and remote help desk assistance.

The ideal candidate can provide strong guidance and technical expertise required to resolve complex issues across Windows Desktop, Windows Server, M365, and advanced networking environments., * Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years as a Systems Engineer or Field Tech.

  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and security fundamentals (MFA, EDR, SOC).
  • Hardware: Hands-on experience with Server hardware (CPU/RAID), network provisioning and installation, and mobile device management (iOS/Android).
  • Soft Skills: You must be detail-oriented, solution-focused, and willing to ask for help when necessary but know how to troubleshoot independently before escalating.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb a ladder.
  • Must currently reside within the Colorado Springs area with a valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation for daily client visits.
