Job description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated material handling, conveyor, packaging, and robotic systems. You will perform preventative maintenance and support safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations.
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with conveyors, motors, sensors, relays, and MHE.
- Install, maintain, and repair automated equipment and systems.
- Perform and document preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Diagnose equipment failures and complete corrective repairs.
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS.
- Maintain tools, spare parts, and equipment inventory.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of related maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or industrial experience.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders, stairs, and in various physical positions.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently or as part of a team., * Associate’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with robotics or electromechanical equipment.
- Experience using CMMS.
- Experience performing preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting material handling equipment (MHE).
- Knowledge of electrical principles, blueprints, and schematics., * High school or equivalent (Preferred)
