Job description

Pride One Construction is currently searching for a full-time IT Manager and Systems Administrator to serve as the primary internal IT resource, providing exceptional support to employees, and partnering with Pride One’s external service providers on strategic initiatives, escalated technical issues, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management. This is not a purely managerial role; candidates must be comfortable actively troubleshooting, resolving help desk tickets, supporting end users, and maintaining technology systems.

Pride One is a commercial construction company that includes apartments, hotels, student housing, assisted living facilities and adaptive reuse projects. We are a full-service construction management company that continues to expand yearly., End User Support & IT Operations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee technology support.
  • Triage, prioritize, and resolve help desk tickets involving workstations, Microsoft 365, printers, mobile devices, and business applications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional communications with employees at all levels.
  • Coordinate onsite support activities and ensure timely resolution of user issues.
  • Manage support processes, documentation, escalation procedures, and service expectations.

Microsoft 365 & Collaboration Platforms:

  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related collaboration tools.
  • Manage user access requests, permissions, licensing, and identity-related processes.
  • Support SharePoint governance, site administration, and information management initiatives.
  • Assist with MS Planner, MS Project Operations and MS Copilot adoption and end-user enablement efforts.

Vendor & Business Application Management:

  • Act as the primary liaison between Pride One and external technology vendors.
  • Coordinate support and issue resolution with software, telecommunications, and infrastructure providers.
  • Support business-critical construction, ERP, CRM, project management, and design applications.
  • Assist departments and internal PMO with evaluating and implementing technology improvements.

Infrastructure & Security:

  • Partner with external MSP to oversee Microsoft 365 administration, identity and access management, endpoint management, patch management, network and wireless infrastructure, backup and disaster recovery processes, cyber security monitoring and remediation activities.
  • Participate in incident response activities and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Maintain technology inventories, documentation, and operational procedures.

Documentation & Knowledge Management:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, system inventories, and standard operating procedures.
  • Own internal technology knowledge transfer and operational readiness efforts.
  • Maintain records of system ownership, access rights, and technology assets.

Projects & Continuous Improvement:

  • Support business technology projects and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Help drive adoption of new systems, workflows, and automation opportunities.
  • Participate in IT planning, budgeting discussions, and technology roadmap initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align technology solutions with business goals.

Pride One Construction had its roots as a land development and Cluster Home Community builder of age targeted homes over 20 years ago. Construction was primarily focused on projects in Northeast Ohio. We quickly became a full service “turnkey” developer. Land was identified for a particular end user; financing would be secured; and then zoning, building plans, utilities, roads and lots were all crafted by the team of Pride One professionals.

Pay: $80000.00 - $105000.00 / year

Requirements

Required:

  • 5-8 years of progressive IT experience
  • Demonstrated experience providing hands-on desktop, network, and end-user support
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 environments
  • Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, endpoint management, and user provisioning
  • Experience working with third-party technology vendors and support providers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service mindset and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and support requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

  • Experience in construction, property management, or professional services with aligned business software platforms (Spectrum, Yardi, Trimble)
  • Familiarity with SharePoint administration and governance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or other endpoint management platforms.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity tools, incident response, and security best practices.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based business applications.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified (Modern Desktop Administrator), Microsoft 365 Administrator, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ and ITIL Foundation
