We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer for our customer in Houston, TX., * Critical Skills
- NSX experience with Cloud and Multi-tenancy is criticalVMWare/NSX resource at a Level 4-5 skillsetExpertise in designing complex NSX environmentsAbility to implement/integrate/manage NSX with third-party tools or other VMware solutions
- NSX
- Automation skills are required
- Key Advanced Skills
- o Networking Fundamentals: Deep knowledge of L2-L3 switching and routing protocols and L4-L7 network services (load balancing, firewall).
- o NSX Architecture Expertise: A thorough understanding of NSX-T Data Center architecture, including management, control, and data planes, and component communication channels.
- o Problem-Solving: Proven experience in creating and applying troubleshooting methodologies for various NSX components, logical networking, and security configurations.o Integration & Security: Ability to implement and manage security solutions (e.g., micro-segmentation, NSX Advanced Load Balancer) and integrate NSX with third-party tools or other VMware solutions.
- Emphasis on NSX and experience with Cloud is critical
- o NSX is the core component of the VMWare cloudo Every service that is created either in the cloud are adjacent to the cloud must traverseNSX Requirements & Skills:
- VMWare/NSX resource at a Level 4-5 skillset (advanced technical and professional competence)
- o Advanced professional or design expertise in troubleshooting, operations, and architecture* Design & Architecture: Expertise in designing complex NSX environments, including multisite deployments and federation.* Troubleshooting & Operations: The ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex technical problems in the NSX infrastructure using a systematic process.* Advanced Configuration: Competence in advanced features like micro-segmentation, advanced load balancing, VPNs, and integrating NSX with other VMware products like vRealize Operations/Automation., * network engineer : 5 years (Preferred)
