Job description
Ossify Systems is hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, maintain, and improve reliable cloud infrastructure and services. This role is suited to an experienced engineer who can work independently, solve complex infrastructure problems, and collaborate effectively with software development, security, and operations teams.
You will help shape cloud architecture, improve system reliability, strengthen security practices, and support the ongoing development of our cloud environment., * Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and services
- Manage and improve cloud environments across development, testing, and production
- Develop infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar platforms
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery
- Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and security
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues
- Implement appropriate cloud security, access controls, backup, and disaster recovery practices
- Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational processes
- Work with engineering teams to improve application performance and cloud reliability
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical standards
- Document infrastructure, processes, configurations, and operational procedures
- Support incident response and contribute to post-incident improvements
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform or a similar tool
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity and access management, and security principles
- Experience with Linux administration and scripting
- Proficiency with at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
