Regulated Messaging Engineer

Windows SMTP / Messaging Compliance Engineer Remote | Contract Pay: Up to $47/hour

We are seeking a Windows SMTP / Messaging Compliance Engineer to support and enhance enterprise messaging retention and compliance platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain SMTP transport services and messaging infrastructure.
• Administer Windows Server and IIS SMTP services.
• Configure and support Proofpoint Enterprise Archive.
• Manage email retention, archiving, and compliance solutions.
• Develop Python automation for operational efficiency.
• Support integrations with Teams, Bloomberg, Symphony, and related platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex messaging, infrastructure, and compliance issues.
• Participate in migrations, upgrades, and platform enhancements.

• Windows Server administration
• IIS SMTP Services / SMTP Forwarding
• Proofpoint Enterprise Archive
• Email retention, archiving, or vaulting solutions
• Python scripting
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Networking and firewall fundamentals
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Financial services or regulated industry experience
• Messaging compliance and governance experience
• Experience with Teams, Bloomberg, or Symphony integrations, * Windows IIS 6.0 SMTP forwarding service: 3 years (Required)
