Job description

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join our development team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing scalable enterprise applications using Java/Spring Boot on the backend and React on the frontend. The candidate should be comfortable working across the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, application design, development, unit testing, debugging, deployment, and production support., Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications. Develop scalable and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Build responsive and reusable user interfaces using React.js. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices. Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, QA engineers, and other developers. Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, code reviews, and implementation. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality. Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues. Contribute to CI/CD automation and application deployments. .

Requirements

10+ years of professional software development experience. Strong hands-on experience with Java Excellent experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring MVC. Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices. Strong hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend development. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles. Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deployment processes. Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and other unit-testing frameworks. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Skills: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies. Experience with cloud-native application development. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
