Job description

Our client is looking for a results-oriented Project Manager to join their team for a 3-month plus contract. This is a critical role within a lean, fast-paced team where you will act as the bridge between technical execution and strategic goals. While the role involves oversight of our Salesforce environment, the primary focus is Project Management, specifically driving the development of data pipelines in collaboration with our leadership and data science team., * Project Leadership: Own the delivery of data-centric projects, ensuring milestones are met and technical resources stay aligned with business objectives.

  • Data Pipeline Collaboration: Work closely with the Data Science team to manage the build-out and optimization of data pipelines.
  • Salesforce Administration Oversight: Provide high-level project management for Salesforce-related tasks, ensuring the platform continues to support the broader data strategy.
  • Agile Execution: Thrive in a small-team environment where speed and adaptability are prioritized over rigid, formal methodologies.

Requirements

  • PM over Admin: Proven experience managing technical projects. While you should understand the Salesforce ecosystem, your primary strength is project coordination and execution.
  • Technical Literacy: Comfort working alongside data scientists and understanding the fundamentals of data pipeline development.
  • Small Team Mentality: Experience working in boutique or fast-moving organizations (e.g., Venture Capital, Private Equity, Family Offices) is highly preferred.
  • Results-Oriented: A “get-it-done” attitude with the ability to pivot quickly as priorities shift.
  • Communication: Ability to translate technical requirements from data scientists into actionable project plans for stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in Financial Services, Venture Capital, Private Equity, or Philanthropy.
  • Experience in high-growth or small-scale environments where “moving fast” is the standard.
