Job description
Our IT Finance Data Ops team is growing, and we’re looking for an outstanding Programmer/Analyst to join our team. The Programmer/Analyst will play a pivotal role in building and operationalizing data quality rules necessary for regulatory reporting teams.
The Programmer/Analyst plays a pivotal role in building and operationalizing data quality rules necessary for regulatory reporting teams. Programmer/Analyst will also test data quality to ensure Huntington’s data conforms to business rules and is accurate, complete, consistent, and uniform. This role’s primarily focuses on building, managing and optimizing data quality checks throughout the data pipelines for key regulatory reporting data., * Architecting, creating and maintaining data pipelines.

Professional image with the ability to form relationships across functions., * Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, statistics or related field, or equivalent related work experience.

5+ years of related experience in data management disciplines including data integration, data modeling, optimization and data quality, and/or other areas directly relevant to data engineering responsibilities and tasks.

5+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders in support of a departmental and/or multi-departmental data management and analytics initiative, experience with data preparation tools and database programming languages. * Experience building modular, reusable ETL frameworks, focusing on scalability and maintenance.

Strong experience with data engineering tooling (e.g., Glue, Lambda, Athena, AWS)

Strong knowledge of BI software tools (e.g., QuickSight, Tableau, etc)
-
Experience with workflow orchestration tools - like Apache Airflow - to schedule, monitor and manage data pipelines.

Hands on data testing experience

Familiarity with Agile methodology practices.

Strong ability to design, build and manage data pipelines for data

Strong experience in working with DevOps capabilities like version control, automated builds, testing and release management capabilities
