Job description

Design, build, test, and deploy scalable REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions using Java 21+, Spring Boot, and Python.

Drive architecture and technical design decisions for mission-critical, high-availability AWS applications.

Implement CI/CD automation pipelines and infrastructure deployment using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline, and CloudFormation.

Lead production troubleshooting, conduct root cause analysis, and continuously optimize application MTTR and resiliency.

Establish multi-AZ and multi-region disaster recovery, failover testing, and business continuity strategies.

Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members on cloud-native best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

7+ years of hands-on software development experience.

Strong proficiency with Java 21+, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and Python.

Deep experience with core AWS services: ECS/Fargate, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, and Aurora PostgreSQL.

Proven track record designing and maintaining fault-tolerant, distributed systems across multiple AWS Availability Zones and Regions.

Experience with database performance tuning, data modeling, and writing complex SQL.

Active AWS Certification (AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect Associate, or Cloud Practitioner).

Solid background in automated unit/integration testing (JUnit, Mockito) and CI/CD tools.
