Job description

The Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst II is responsible for managing and improving data quality, consistency, and governance across enterprise systems, with a primary focus on Informatica MDM. This role leads MDM implementation efforts, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to define data standards, rules, and governance processes to support reliable operations and analytics., * Lead and support implementation of Informatica MDM solutions, including configuration of data models, match/merge rules, and workflows.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and document master data rules, data definitions, and governance standards across domains.
  • Manage and maintain master data across systems such as Workday, Salesforce, Redshift, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, deduplication, and validation to ensure high data quality and consistency.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to align on master data ownership, roles, and processes across business units.
  • Support data migration and integration initiatives by mapping and aligning master data across multiple systems.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and provide reporting on data health and improvement efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies across source and downstream systems.
  • Document MDM processes, data standards, and governance policies for operational and audit purposes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data governance, processes, and data quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • equivalent work experience will be considered.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in master data management, data governance, or data analysis
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM implementation and support
  • Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP, Workday, Salesforce, and cloud data platforms (e.g., Redshift)
  • Experience defining data rules, business processes, and governance standards with stakeholders
  • Experience in data quality management, cleansing, and validation processes
  • Experience coordinating projects or cross-functional initiatives in a data environment
  • Basic SQL skills for data validation and analysis
  • Experience supporting data migration, integration, or system implementations preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong ability to lead MDM initiatives and coordinate across business and technical teams.
  • Solid understanding of Informatica MDM concepts, including match/merge logic, hierarchies, and data governance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and resolve data quality and consistency issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate business requirements into data rules and governance processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive alignment across stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise systems and cross-system data relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
  • Ability to document and standardize data definitions, processes, and governance frameworks.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Informatica, data governance, or MDM certifications (e.g., CDMP) are a plus

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Position requires working in an office environment where there some physical discomforts such as dust, dirt, noise, and the like are present. Ability to work off-hours and weekends for go-lives, testing and emergencies, as well as travel between office locations, primarily within NYC is required. Occasional meetings or clinical staff interactions in typical patient care areas may be required though direct patient exposure is not expected. Occasional moving of computer equipment or similar objects up to approximately 50lbs may be required to expedite projects.
