Engineering - Systems 5_Non-Cleared

Collaborate with a cross-functional team of systems, software, integration, and test engineers to develop and deliver avionics system solutions. Support development, analysis, and refinement of system requirements and interfaces. Complete assignments involving Design and Requirement Developments activities On-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness, and Ad-Hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases) Support requirements development, requirements-based testing execution, test script development, execution of scenario-based, robustness, and unintended function/behavior testing in a lab environment. Flexibility is necessary to maximize test assets utilization. Be responsible for the troubleshooting and reporting of issues resulting from development cycles; the candidate will be capable of providing internal status as well as directly reporting to the OEMs as necessary. Test script development and execution Contribute to verification planning and test development to ensure implementations satisfy system requirements. Participate in technical reviews of requirements, design artifacts, and test procedures, while incorporating feedback into your own work. Assist with system integration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in lab and development environments.

Education: 4 year STEM degree + minimum 5-year relevant experience -OR- and Advanced Degree in a related field + a minimum 3 years of experience Shift: M-F, normal business hours, Experience with one or more of the following tools/languages is a plus: Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Cameo, or similar engineering tools. Exposure to requirements development, verification, testing, or model-based engineering concepts. Hands-on experience with Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) at the system level is required Strong understanding of Avionics, aircraft Systems, and Subsystems. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with full development cycles, Avionics certification, and a strong understanding of lifecycle activities and deliverables for Avionics programs. Experience working within regulatory environments, including DO-254, DO-160, DO-178B/C, DO-297, ARP4754A, and FAA/TCCA/EASA standards. Coursework or project experience related to systems engineering, embedded systems, software development, aerospace, or controls. Experience working on team-based technical projects, including design reviews, troubleshooting, or test execution.
