In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex electronic hardware systems that meet rigorous industry standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge products across various sectors, including communications, industrial automation, and embedded systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, advanced circuit design techniques, and proficiency with modern CAD and simulation tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that push technological boundaries while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards., * Design and develop electronic hardware components, including PCB layouts, schematics, and system architectures using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.

  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), SoC (System on Chip), and microcontroller solutions into product designs.
  • Conduct thorough system development verification through simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink and SystemVerilog to validate performance and functionality.
  • Perform root cause analysis on hardware failures or anomalies during testing phases and implement effective troubleshooting strategies.
  • Lead PCB design efforts ensuring adherence to electrical standards such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 compliance.
  • Develop electrical schematic diagrams, control systems, and electrical system designs for industrial automation applications.
  • Support manufacturing processes by providing detailed engineering documentation, participating in prototype assembly, soldering, and debugging.
  • Utilize scripting languages like Python or C++ for automation of testing procedures and data analysis.
  • Engage in signal processing tasks for communication systems or vision inspection systems to optimize performance.
  • Ensure all designs meet safety regulations, electrical building codes, and industry standards while maintaining high quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering environment with a focus on electronics design.
  • Extensive knowledge of FPGA development, PCB design, circuit schematics, and electrical system integration.
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation, or similar tools for detailed design work.
  • Hands-on experience with simulation tools including MATLAB/Simulink and SystemVerilog for system verification.
  • Strong understanding of control systems, signal processing techniques, and communications systems engineering.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, scripting for automation tasks.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes including NEC (National Electrical Code) standards relevant to industrial settings.
  • Experience with debugging hardware issues using tools like ohmmeters or oscilloscopes; soldering skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively during engineering troubleshooting activities.
  • Excellent project scheduling skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Arduino platforms, vision inspection systems is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams across global locations.
