Job description

  • Develop and refine comprehensive energy models using WUFI, OpenStudio, and Therm, ensuring accuracy and reliability for project applications.
  • Conduct detailed data collection and analysis to inform system design and performance assessments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate system design components seamlessly.
  • Manage project schedules effectively using project management principles to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Apply building science principles to develop scalable energy solutions aligned with client needs and industry standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Simulation systems?, We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Energy Modeler to join our innovative team. The Energy Modeler is responsible for analyzing, modeling, and optimizing building energy performance across a variety of project types. This role supports the design and evaluation of high-performance, low-energy buildings by applying advanced simulation tools, building science principles, and data-driven analysis. This position works collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to inform design decisions, improve building efficiency, and help clients meet energy, sustainability, and performance goals. This position requires a balance of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and clear communication, with opportunities to contribute to increasingly complex projects and mentor junior staff., * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in Energy Modeling. Perform advanced energy modeling analysis for commercial and residential buildings primarily using Energy Plus/OpenStudio or DesignBuilder in accordance with ASHRAE Standards.
  • Technical understanding of high-performance building for Mechanical and Enclosure systems., * Do you have 5+ years experience using Energy Plus/OpenStudio or DesignBuilder in accordance with ASHRAE Standards?
