Infrastructure Engineer Sr

Responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise infrastructure across specialized domains including Windows Systems, Linux/Midrange Systems, and Visualization Platforms. Provides subject matter expertise, advanced troubleshooting, automation leadership, and ensures reliability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure systems. Also provides guidance for junior engineers and contributes to enterprise technology modernization initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering.

OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

• Expertise in at least one specialization area: Windows, Linux/Midrange, or Virtualization.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives with minimal supervision
• Advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across multiple platforms. Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible). Deep understanding of enterprise security practices and system hardening. Strong communication and documentation capabilities. Ability to collaborate across diverse technical teams.
• Knowledge of virtualization, server hardware, storage systems, and enterprise networking concepts.

Preferred Credentials:

• VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) * Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• CompTIA Server+ or CompTIA Security Facility
