Job description
As a Lead MTS Application engineer, the candidate will be reporting to Director of Application and Validation and is a Full-Time position. The engineer will work on developing the validation environment across bench and system for performance specification compliance using our DDR5 enablement devices (SPD/TS/PMIC). The engineer will require experience in validation of digital ASIC and I2C/I3C protocols. Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for most office-based roles. Employees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.
Responsibilities

Bench characterization and validation of I2C/I3C protocols.

Developing python scripts for bench automation.

Support customers in understanding and resolving their issues.

Provide post silicon bring-up support, interface with design, operation, and development.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in post-silicon digital ASIC bench validation.
- Experience with lab automation in Python.
- Experience working with I2C/I3C protocols.
- Knowledge of Power Electronics is a bonus.
