Job description

  • Develop full-stack features and rapid prototypes
  • Develop enhancements to existing software products
  • Develop API integrations to external solutions such as video management and access control systems
  • Work in a team environment and communicate successes and challenges quickly and objectively
  • Flexible to work in an office setting at least 60% of the time as well as from home
  • Create relevant documentation for deliverables in Azure DevOps and SharePoint

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field of study
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 4+ years of front-end experience with Angular 9+ (13+ preferred), Angular CDK, RxJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS preferred)
  • Reactive programming experience with Angular RxJS Observables is critical
  • Stronger front-end candidates will have experience with reactive state management patterns such as Elf, Akita, or NgRx store
  • CSS experience with Material Tailwind would be ideal
  • 4+ years of back-end experience with Object-Oriented C#, .NET Core (API preferred), ASP.NET Core, RESTful Web Services (microservice-oriented architecture preferred)
  • Stronger middle-to-back end candidates will have experience with multi-threaded development concepts such as exception handling, semaphore, manual/auto reset events, async/await, guards, threading channels, circuit breakers, CQRS
  • Experience with asynchronous jobs and queuing systems in a large-scale environment with strict service-level agreements would be a definite plus
  • 3+ years of experience with queuing, eventing, and messaging systems
  • 3+ years of experience with Web Workers and WebSockets
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and any NoSQL database with eventual consistency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Any experience handling streaming data exceeding 5 million records per day would be a plus
  • Any experience with the Elasticsearch-Logstash-Kibana stack would be a definite plus
  • Any experience migrating IaaS components over to PaaS services would be a plus
  • Any professional experience dealing with the government / public sector would be a plus
  • Any professional experience dealing with the car rental industry would be a plus
