Job description
GridironIT is looking for a hands-on Multi-Cloud Resident Architect that can work fully remote and able to obtain a public trust security clearance. You will help lead the design, deployment, and operation of cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. This individual will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers while providing hands-on engineering support across cloud architecture, Kubernetes, security, automation, DevOps, and application development initiatives., * Interface directly with customers to gather requirements, architect solutions, and support deployment of enterprise cloud environments.
- Design, deploy, and support solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and maintain Terraform modules and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for multi-cloud environments.
- Architect and manage Kubernetes platforms including EKS, AKS, and GKE.
- Implement GitOps and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Helm, and Kubernetes.
- Develop automation solutions using Python, AWS Lambda, and cloud-native services.
- Partner with security teams to implement IAM, RBAC, Zero Trust, container security, and compliance controls.
- Serve as a technical SME for Cloud, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, and Application Modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- Writing and maintaining Terraform modules for AWS resources including provider configuration, variables, outputs, and packaging Lambda deployment artifacts
- Familiarity with workflows on GitHub Actions for multi-cloud deployments, including cross-account AWS credential chaining, Azure/Google Cloud Platform authentication, SNS-based email notifications via SMTP, and workflow triggers.
- Evaluating and deploying GitOps-based continuous delivery across multi-team (ArgoCD), multi-cluster Kubernetes environments, including Entra ID (Azure AD) SSO integration, RBAC with AppProjects, Helm/JFrog Artifactory integration, and ApplicationSets for scale.
- Writing Lambda functions in Python (boto3) for org-wide automation
- Familiarity with building and consuming APIs (preferably Go), including working with tooling in the cloud-native ecosystem (e.g., Kubernetes controllers, CLI tools, and infrastructure automation services).
- One of the major cloud provider certifications + college degree, * 6+ years of experience designing and supporting enterprise cloud solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform, AWS not the main focus but needs a solid background:
- AWS (EKS, Lambda, IAM, Organizations, VPCs, S3)
- Azure (AKS, Entra ID, Key Vault, Azure Functions, Azure Networking)
- Google Cloud Platform (GKE, IAM, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions) ok if just azure
- Advanced Kubernetes experience in multi-cluster environments.
- Advanced Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience designing distributed systems utilizing microservices and containers.
- Some Full-stack development experience with:
- Java
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- REST APIs
- Python development experience including AWS Lambda and automation tooling.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, identity management, and DevSecOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Go (Golang).
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory, Helm, ApplicationSets, and AppProjects.
- Experience developing Kubernetes operators, controllers, or platform tooling.
- AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, CKA, or CKAD certifications.
- Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain one., A true jack-of-all-trades technologist who can meet with customers, architect multi-cloud solutions, build Terraform modules, deploy and troubleshoot AKS/EKS/GKE clusters, write Python automation, develop Java/JavaScript microservices, implement security controls, and provide hands-on support across cloud, platform, DevOps, and application teams.

Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Public Trust clearance required Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
