Job description
Atrium EMEA are supporting a world-leading IT services client in their search for an experienced C# Developer to join a major financial services programme based in Cheshire. This role will suit an established C# Developer with strong recent experience working within enterprise-level banking or financial services organisations. You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing a suite of existing custom-built applications, whilst working closely with stakeholders to deliver ongoing improvements and technical solutions. Candidates must be based within a commutable distance of Cheshire and willing to attend the office two days per week. Applications from candidates outside the local area will not be considered., * Support, maintain, and enhance existing custom-built C# applications.
- Design, develop, and implement new features and functionality.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing production support.
- Investigate and analyse API outputs and integration requirements.
- Assess the feasibility of API-based data extraction and integration solutions.
- Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions.
- Utilise Python for automation, Scripting, and data-related tasks where required.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and application life cycle management.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience developing applications using C#.
- Advanced SQL development and database experience.
- Commercial experience with Python.
- Experience supporting and enhancing existing enterprise applications.
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, and data extraction solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Recent experience working within a banking or financial services environment., * Recent banking or financial services experience.
- Experience working within enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong C#, SQL, and Python capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of existing applications.
- Ability to commute to Cheshire two days per week.
- Candidates must already be based within a commutable distance of Cheshire. Relocators will not be considered.
