Job description

Capgemini is seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to join our SAP transformation team and support the design, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP Sales & Distribution solutions. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable Order-to-Cash (OTC) solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value.

Application Consultants understand the client business process, current and future, and map it to the technologies being used, giving a demarcation of what can be achieved through a standard implementation and what would need customizations or extensions to be done to the application. They may functionally customize the application, partner with application developers to design application enhancements and extensions, and work with business users to implement process changes. Individual should be able to conceptualize a business or technical solution leveraging colleagues and partners and must mastered at least one methodology in depth and have an advanced knowledge of one or more business domains, and one or more SaaS or package software solutions. This role has wide knowledge of industry innovations and competitor activity and actively engage in, and contribute to, internal and external knowledge developments. Individual has the solution knowledge and consulting skills to lead process improvements, analysis on business processes andor or IT and can advise clients on the implementation of one or more package modules. This role is responsible for workshop facilitation, integration testing and user acceptance testing. Individual is seen as active member within technology communities. Certifications: maintain certifications on Saas or Package Based solution and relevant methodology?

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP SD processes, strong functional consulting skills, and hands-on experience supporting enterprise SAP environments. Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, and transformation initiatives is highly preferred.

Your Role

  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable SAP SD solutions.
  • Configure and support SAP Sales & Distribution processes, including:
  • Sales Order Management
  • Pricing and Condition Technique
  • Shipping and Transportation
  • Billing and Invoicing
  • Returns Management
  • Credit Management
  • Intercompany Sales
  • Third-Party Sales Processes
  • Design, implement, and support end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) business processes.
  • Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, rollout, and transformation projects.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions.
  • Work closely with SAP MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and TM teams to ensure seamless cross-functional process integration.
  • Develop Functional Specifications (FS) for RICEFW objects and support development activities.
  • Lead and support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment planning, and production releases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production support issues while ensuring business continuity.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the SAP SD landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7-10 years of SAP SD consulting experience with strong expertise in Sales & Distribution processes.
  • Hands-on experience configuring SAP SD modules in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes and best practices.
  • Experience working with Sales Order Processing, Pricing, Shipping, Billing, Returns, Credit Management, Intercompany, and Third-Party Sales scenarios.
  • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, migrations, or transformation programs preferred.
  • Strong understanding of integration points between SAP SD and SAP MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and TM.
  • Experience creating Functional Specifications and supporting RICEFW development objects.
  • Proven experience supporting SIT, UAT, cutover, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • SAP S/4HANA experience and SAP certifications are a plus.

Benefits & conditions

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $82,082- $193,440

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
